Question: Would this plugin work for me?

I use templater to import my google and work calendar with the ics plugin (Events items) which in turn my calendar events also show in the day planner timeline. The day planner only shows events if they have checkboxes, but throughout my day I don't check off events they are there as a guideline of my day. Reading the readme it appears this plugin reads all checkboxes. Is there another plugin or another way to just import remaining tasks to the next day without bringing the Events? Maybe by specifying a subtitle?
