It would be beautiful if we could get an absolute URL f.e. in blocks.

If we request Yii::$app->menu->current->link the host is missing.

Whats about Yii::$app->menu->current->url ?

Yii::$app->menu->current->getAbsoluteLink() or Yii::$app->menu->current->absoluteLink
