This code works in #1
Today , no success on unix and esp32-s3 ports. Two buttons but no spinner.
Wrong practice ? Firmware issue ? On your engines it's ok ?

i don't understand what you are trying to do with that code. There is no task handler and there is no display code.

The first Line IS

import lv_config

and I add

import task_handler
th= task_handler.TaskHandler

I don't know why you are using asynchio. You are not doing anything that would be considered as IO.

If you are getting an error then I need to see the error.

That's the problem , no error but no spinner.
Seems the create_task not started.
So if you Can make the same test , with unix port or esp32-s3 port.
Or how to débug ?
