Customer Products Magic Dash - Updates to Services

Maybe I am misunderstanding how Magic Dash functions. Should the dash for a client update if a certain service/product is added later and the box in the asset is checked? I just tested this and I do not see the product showing on the dash.

I also do not see gray boxes showing for the services that are not checked, like in the example images here. https://mspp.io/hudu-magic-dash-customer-services/

Does the script just need to be run on a schedule to keep it updated?
