exclude directory

Is there a way to exclude certain directories on the backup?

I thought I'd try to use this script to backup to a NAS (OpenMediaVault (OMV)) and it seems to work - trouble is it also tries to backup the .img that it is writing to (can't exclude /media files). Looks like I need to get back into programming to change the script to exclude directories - unless the author has plans.

Same here - the backup includes the mounted NAS directory
