Strange output to terminal on Sierra

The following cryptic message showed up on the terminal in Sierra, around the time that I did :set nofu in MacVim.

I don't know what that means, but I figured it would be best to post it here in case someone does.

Not sure why it happens but only occurs sometimes. Displayed in the terminal window that I launched vim from.

I'd combine all such messages in the same issue. It's be better when we'll have a checklist and know when issue can be marked as done.
