Hi Max,

any info about new Chia plot format?

Chia evidently doesn't care about original supporters, and it is time to move to 3rd party solutions.

I wanna replot, but unknown future, and possible yet another unwanted replot is not economical at current XCH prices.

Doo you have any info about impact of new format on 3rd party projects as GH & NoSSD, please?

I am guessing it is better to wait 6-12 months, and see what they screw up now.

I am interested in GH C30 plots on RTX 3060 Ti with max 450GiB (suppose to be limit for GPU). Any real experience how much Watts GPU uses, please?

I guess GPU will run flat out at 200W.

I am guessing running Chia node + GH node on same rig/network is still not possible, no?

I have a 3060Ti powered harvester with ~600TiB of C29. I had ~88TiB of C30 that I am re-plotting back to C29 to save some kWh. You can see TDP bounces from 30% to throttle point. With all 88TiB of C30 my average times were double and peak times around 17s. Not a perfect example, but I did not see a significant yield improvement with the C30s and decided to scale back to C29. My other harvester (also my node) has a RTX A4000 and I saw the same thing with 15% C30s == peak times near 20s, TDP hitting 100% + throttling, 80+ temps and not enough extra yield to justify the extra kWh ... in my opinion.

@spleen911 thanks for sharing chief. What is your overall wattage with this setup?

I used to have something similar with official Chia, 1.2TiBe @ 500Wh

I am guessing your rig can have 30x20TB or about 210W drives + 200W pc +gpu? Perhaps 400W average?

That harvester is ~700W = Old Gen4 i7 + 6 internal SATA + 48 external SATA in Syba 8-bay enclosures. Most of the drives are 10/12/14TB .... very few 16 and some 8s. Not the most efficient use of bays, but I used what I had which meant not buying 18/20/22TB drives for extreme density.
