I tried reproducing the issue on 2.4-dev, and I'm not getting any emails. I tried playing around with the backend settings, but I don't know if I it's a problem in 2.4-dev or your instance is not setup to send emails, or my smtp is rejecting them due spf/dmarc rules. I tried gmail and still nothing. I did not get the new account welcome email, and neither the password reset email. |

Hi,
We've recently upgraded our store in staging from 2.3.1 to 2.3.4 and experienced problems with transactional emails not being sent (order confirmation, etc). We fixed this by applying the patch mentioned in ticket #25338 and then upgrading to 2.3.4.
However, we discovered new account registration emails are not being sent still (no welcome emails). We also discovered the same issue is happening on our production site, which is v2.3.1.
Any ideas?
