Problems copying write-panel #3
Comments
Same problem here |
Same issue here: WP 3.1, WPML 2.0.4.1, MF 1.5.4, MF+WPML 1.1 |
Hmm they got two threads here and can't bother to answer. What's up with that? |
Similar problem with: WordPress 3.1.2 + MF Plus WPML + WPML 2.0.4.1 When I create new translation, I can't see the write panels selector, but after i publish the post, write panels appears. The problem is when I choose correct write panel and publish the post again, custom fields appear empty (even if I selected them to sync with original post) and resets all the other translated and original posts custom fields. I am desperate to find a solution, but as much as I like Magic Fields, the essential plugin for me is wpml, so I guess I switch to another customs post type plugin. |
Updated WPML, same problem. Cyrrently running: WPML 2.3.0, Magic-fields 1.5.4, MF Plus WPML 1.1 |
this is fixed into the development version. |
Hi,
I'm running WP 3.1, WPML 2.1.2, MF 1.5.4, MF+WPML 1.1.
The problem I'm having is that my write panels are not copied over to my translations.
I create a page in Swedish using the "article" write panel that has two custom fields (image upload as well as an attachment field). When I click the blue plus from the page edit screen or from the page list to add my translation I get a regular page (no custom fields). The writepanel section is not shown so I can't set the write panel either.
Under Magic Fields > Translatable fields I've checked "Keep sync".
Under WPML > Translation management > Multilingial content setup I've checked Post and Page synchronization. I've also laborated with the custom fields translations back and forth.
Any suggestions here?
