Bar code EAN quality

We are trying to use the ean 13 bar code but we observed some issue.
First of all, the numbers are unreadale, but when print on pdf there's no issue.
The bar code seem correct but the bar code reader has some trouble to read. The bars look well defined .
We add some other text to show that there is not any printer quality issue.

Hiya. I can see that the numbers are not rendering correctly. However can you see how there are some vertical lines missing from the ZZZZZZZ this could also point to an additional printing issue compounding the problem.

Just to be 100% sure you should print the bar-codes perpendicular to the direction of print. that way any vertical lines through the print will no longer affect the readability of the bar codes.

Ok, but I'm sure at 100% of the issue.
The white line on ZZZZZZ is due to the ribbon and now We are changing supplier to fix this secondary issue.
