####Code Book of the tidy data set of UC Irvine's Human Activity Recognition Using Smartphones Data Collection. This code book describes the variables and observation labels for Coursera's Data Gathering and Cleaning course project.
Subject is a numeric factor between 1 and 30. Activty is a factor of six different activities. There are 88 mean and standard deviation measurements that have been averaged per subject per activity. Each subject thus has six activity rows covering 88 mean measurement columns.
The measuement means are averages per subject per activity, and represent the following units of measurement:
- Triaxial acceleration from the accelerometer (total acceleration) and the estimated body acceleration.
- Triaxial Angular velocity from the gyroscope.
