Hi all,

My EPEX SPOT BINARY SENSOR 24H INTERMITTENT went to status 'unknown'.

I tried to update it, but its status remains unknown.

I don't know what I should do to get it work again.

My EPEX SPOT BINARY SENSOR 09PM-07PM CONTIGUOUS has status 'off' (seems to be alright).

I remember having issues with attribute times not to be correct due to winter/summer time change. At that time downgrading to an older version fixed the issue.

Current EPEX Spot sensor version is 1.3.1

How can I get the sensor working again?

Kind regards,
Wim

Euhm, this morning I saw the opposite:
My EPEX SPOT BINARY SENSOR 09PM-07PM CONTIGUOUS had status 'unknown', and the EPEX SPOT BINARY SENSOR 24H INTERMITTENT was 'off'.

And now both seem to be O.K. again, current status 'off'

Is there anyone who can briefly explain?

Regards,
Wim

This might be releated to connection issues or API errors.

Did you solve this? I also have unknown status at times. This way my automation for charging my battery doesn't work.

Hi @notalotofexperience ,

I am afraid I cannot help you.

In my case both EPEX Spot Sensors (helpers) returned to working status (on/off) without any intervention (from my side).

@suaveolent stated the unknown status could be related tot connection issues or API errors.

I hope you get your automations back to work, and I'am eager to learn.
Perhaps anybody else can explain?

Kind regards,
Wim
