is there a possibility for 2.5?

The book is written with 2.4 - I understand it would be interesting to see how the examples look in 2.5, though this would be a different repository then, since this one is meant to be compatible with the book.

At the moment, I am afraid that I am not in the position to upgrade all the applications to 2.5 (I need to "catch up" a little on the world around the book, since it took quite some time to write it). If I get to it, there will be another repository for it.

If you are familiar with a good reference for migrating 2.4 to 2.5 it would be great.
Maybe some of the readers could create PR to a 2.5 branch.

@idoshamun yes. that would be a great idea

Wouldn't it make sense to just create a 2.5 branch? Easier for readers to follow this way, we just click the watch button on github and wait for the notification.

BTW I bought the book and am very interested in the 2.5 version of this repo. Thanks!

Same here! Play is now at version 2.6, and I can't even make Chapter 2 examples work :-( Oauth is taken out of play.api.libs, and there's no documentation regarding how to migrate to 2.6. Having an updated version would be a great help to the new buyers of the book.

Same here, trying very hard to get the code to work with Play 2.6.
