For some reason when you zoom out the map resets any rotation you had. It is quite jarring.

Google Maps lets you keep a rotation even at the highest zoom levels. They also adjust the scrolling edge of the map (at 0 degrees latitude) to be along the angle.

I will check out how Google does this. The background is here:

Per #296 we want an animation here that makes this clearer, but if Google Maps stays rotated in a sane way, maybe we don't have to worry about it.

Just noticed another bug.

It doesn't always rotate on some parts of the map.

E.g try zooming in to New Zealand. It won't rotate. But go over to Australia and it will.

Some times the map will just stop rotating every where.

Yeah, this is the same thing as #242. The problem is that the southern edge of the map (~85 degrees S) is onscreen. If you go over z3, this is unlikely to be the case, but could still happen. If it's happening in another case, please let me know.
