failed to initialize projection with: '[object Object]' in Map

Fresh install from GitHub source (last commit is 6dca84a0e90a493c63c7adf7eb6446a400dffabc on Apr 13, 2016):

I was able to get my account connected just fine but when I tried to add a new source from /authorize, I get the following error:
<Mon, 18 Apr 2016 00:35:49 GMT> error 500 { [Error: failed to initialize projection with: '[object Object]' in Map] method: 'GET', url: '/new/source' }

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and npm 1.3.10~dfsg-1.
