widget page #12

As great as that could be, I feel like it'd take away from the simplicity of the app. I also wish there was some say to access widgets, but I feel like it'd be hard to implement while keeping the same feel. |
if there was another app icon, or even just another app ? dunno that sounds like more work, but just something that you can add to the pie if you want to and it opens like an app, or another page if it was an addon or toggle or something ? a few ideas about how this might work
essentially though, it would be an app icon that functions like any other app, so it doesn't really detract from the launcher, as it doesn't act like a part of it . |
That's an interesting idea 🤔 Frankly, I haven't thought about an extra page (or app) to support widgets since I don't use them myself. But I can see how useful that could be, of course. Also, I want to keep the launcher as clean as possible. So I really like the idea of having an extra app just for widgets. I'm not completely sure if this really works but it's sure worth investigating 👍 |
Maybe you can use a second launcher like Nova with a clear page and just widget. You could start Nova from the pie menu as an regular app. Tried this a moment ago and it worked for me. |
so this is entirely seperate from the 1x1 app widgets mentioned the other issue, i think there should be an icon ( or perhaps a gesture ? ) that allows you to open a widget page, where widgets are arranged in a vertical list you can scroll through
