The deadline is in 4 days and so far, to me personally it doesn't look as if the app is policy compliant so far

F.e the policy mentions there has to be a direct pathway to delete your account in the app AND on a website, so far it seems like both aren't compliant.

The in-app path just doesn't seem to exist at all

And the web path simply leads to text with no real way to actually delete the account from there, even tho to me it sounds like that's a requirement and not just optional

The current documentation that the Olay store listing links to does not have any pathway at all, I think the best way would be to create a new webpage that

  1. requests users to enter their instance
  2. redirects to the instances login page
  3. now it becomes tricky, I don't know if it's possible have certain URL parameters that automatically redirect to the appropriate account deletion setting or if the users would simply be stranded on the homepage after they signed in. I also doubt that the mastodon API allows you to delete an account, so that's probably not an option either

This could them be used in a chrome custom tab in the android app as well

LMK if I got anything wrong, maybe somehow mastodon is exempt from the rules or the rules aren't really as strict as I thought they are
