It'd be lovely if we had lots of test accounts that can only be used in dev mode. Or something like that.

I'm not sure how we would do that, given that we are currently using the production database in development. We'd still have to secure those accounts somehow.

Post-MVP we should probably do development on a local instance, where we can have scripts to populate the local database with test users that don't need auth. For now I'm not sure how we would create test accounts that we can access, but users can't.
