I installed the matomo plugin in my wordpress. The matomo settings in wordpress have the tab matomo admin, which links to the module CoreAdminHome. In the module CoreAdminHome I click System in the left panel and then go to General Settings. Under one of the presented settings I click Save (it doesn't matter which one). A pop-up appears, prompting me to give a password. What I would expect to be the confirmation button reads: The string General_Confirm was not loaded in javascript. Make sure it is added in the Translate.getClientSideTranslationKeys hook.
The button is greyed out until I feed the input field. Independent from the given information, the pop-up closes after clicking the button. On the top of the page appears a red notice stating the given password is incorrect.
I expected the button in the pop-up to read something like 'Save' or 'Confirm' and on clicking it actually saving made changes in the settings, when presented with my wordpress password.
What happened?
