The license is really GPL, so it can NOT be used in closed source applications or inside the usual appstores?

I guess it is the same mistake as here: matomo-org/piwik-dotnet-tracker#23

Not a duplicate as it is a different project. Both licenses should be changed 👍

I definitely agree with this proposal and the license should be changed.

I agree that it should be changed. I would suggest MIT or BSD.

Hi @julienmoumne - would you be able to help and change the license to 3-Clause BSD License as you did for the other project in matomo-org/piwik-dotnet-tracker@4883823 ?
