Is it possible to have a "copy" button to be able to copy the summarised autotable output to excel, similar to the DT package's "buttons" function (https://rstudio.github.io/DT/003-tabletools-buttons.html)? The idea is that once the tables are knitted to a html document, users can easily copy the summarised tables into excel if needed, without needing the full seriatim data.

Unfortunately, this isn't a quick update. The autotable() functions rely on the gt package, which doesn't contain any support for copy buttons. It's possible to do this with DT as you noted, but I'm not sure I want to add this dependency to actxps just yet as I believe the gt maintainers are working on an export feature similar to this.
