When using codexctl to boot off the free partition on the device (codexctl restore), the qt cache may be overwritten by a different version of xochitl causing the tools bar to persist on the "My files" page.
In my case, this has been tested with one partition running vanilla 3.14.1.9, and rm-hacks 0.0.10_060c149b482d510091609949f27f9cf2ef0d4972.patch which is on 3.11.2.5. Switching from the rm-hacks partition to vanilla, and back causes this bug to happen.
You would need to reinstall if you boot into an older version and haven't taken any steps to isolate the qmlcache of the OS version with rm-hacks installed.
