(from plug-ins newsgroup)
Hi RMA,
As more and more users switch to Rhino 5 I am getting more requests and questions
why my plugins (being encrypted and compiled rhps) don't work under 64-bit.

My answer is "V5 is not supported until V5 is officially out" but would be
great to see some movement in that area. Any chance to have it improved/fixed
in the near future?

Best,

Jarek

We need to think about how things like menus are handled in an updated compiler. I do not want compiled scripts to be forced as "load at startup" just to get menu items added. The new rui system should be able to support this.

We also need to think about how to support compilation of python scripts and have these work on both Windows/Mac

There is one more problem that needs to be adressed while the compiler gets redone - currently in V4 monkey the compiled scripts with GetString clickable options don't work from macros/Rhino.Command method.
