Installing qtfaststart with "--no-cache-dir" fails #17
Comments
Hm is this new? I've had that parameter in there for a while. I'll have to do some investigation as to why that would be an issue |
qtfaststart hasn't been updated since 2013 so not likely to be a change in the package, so this may be either a pip bug or an issue with the parent container; what container are you applying the mod to?? What version of pip is it using? I've seen some people report this error related to the cache but that was dating back to a pip bug in 2019 that should be long fixed And how did you come to find out it was --no-cache-dir? Does it resolve if that flag is removed? |
Apologies, should've included more details in my first post. Running the Wasn't happening before, just took down the container and put it backup and it started happening (no change to the container version). I think its something inside the container that has been updated like pip? PIP in the container is: PIP using venv is: I tested a few things and found that without |
See referenced issue above but should have a workaround until pip fix is available |
