Usage notes
What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?
The "Value" box at the top of the section seems to list the correct values, e.g.
text-bottom
. But the detailed list further down seems to mix in some values from thealignment-baseline
attribute, e.g.text-after-edge
instead oftext-bottom
.This confusion seems to have been adopted by MS Edge (132.0.2957.140), which accepts the incorrect
dominant-baseline: text-after-edge
but rejects the correctdominant-baseline: text-bottom
.The corresponding CSS page looks better.
What did you expect to see?
The attribute values described on the page should be the ones that are listed as supported at the top of the page, e.g.
text-bottom
should be described instead oftext-after-edge
