What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?

The "Value" box at the top of the section seems to list the correct values, e.g. text-bottom. But the detailed list further down seems to mix in some values from the alignment-baseline attribute, e.g. text-after-edge instead of text-bottom.

This confusion seems to have been adopted by MS Edge (132.0.2957.140), which accepts the incorrect dominant-baseline: text-after-edge but rejects the correct dominant-baseline: text-bottom.

The corresponding CSS page looks better.

The attribute values described on the page should be the ones that are listed as supported at the top of the page, e.g. text-bottom should be described instead of text-after-edge.

The text-before/after-edge values are still supported in the browsers, and text-top/bottom values haven't been implanted. Specifications change, but we have to wait until any major browser implements it.

The latest values in the usage notes are coming from mdn/data repository. Maybe we need to update the current live values in the browsers there.
