What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?
The color-scheme option in the HTML meta tag is the recommended way to set to the CSS color-scheme value for the root element, before CSS has even been parsed (to avoid a flash of bright white before loading a dark mode web page). It should be mentioned when discussing the CSS property.
I was specifically searching for the meta tag syntax, and it didn't come up in the top search results for "color-scheme". So I guess a second issue could be filed against the Standard metadata names article, to mark them up so they are easier to find by search! (The name values are currently just list items, not headings or linkable definitions)
What did you expect to see?
I expected to at least find a link to the meta definitions from this page.
