I'm planning to build an e-commerce marketplace for vehicle parts, with support for multiple vendors. Instead of starting from scratch, I want to leverage Medusa and customize it to fit my needs.

I’m looking for insights on:

Implementing multi-vendor support (e.g., allowing different vendors to manage their own products, orders, and inventory).
Modifying Medusa's database models to link vendors with their products efficiently.
Best practices for extending Medusa while keeping the setup scalable and maintainable.
If anyone has experience working with Medusa or building similar marketplaces, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Any tips, resources, or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Medusa can be used for any ecommerce website. Not sure what you mean exactly by parts-related. If you mean multi-part products, Medusa already supports that and you can refer to the following guides:
