When using a non-default MTU value, the network card resets.

Testcase:
(1) Configure router to send MTU of 9000 via DHCP
(2) Boot to Ubuntu Server 21.04.1 ppc64le
(3) Network port goes offline, presumably due to APE firmware resetting hardware, or some other issue.
