Details

Sometimes this error occurs:

Error: transport-level error: failed to POST to melwalletd

I will collect logs on the next time I encounter this problem.

Environment Information

  • OS: Debian 11.6 amd64
  • Kernel: #1 SMP Debian 5.10.162-1 (2023-01-21)
  • CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8358 CPU @ 2.60GHz(VM 4-Core)
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • melminter version: 0.8.1
  • Commands to run: melminter --threads $(nproc) --payout address

@nullchinchilla It seems to be a matter of start-up sequence. When I open melwalletd manually first, melminter does not show this error.

Thanks for bringing this up, we'll look into it! The minter should be starting a daemon automatically if there isn't a --daemon flag passed in.
