Goal

  • Cortex has stable, beta and nightly builds installers generated via CI
  • Published on Github repo, Website etc

Tasklist

  • Tests
    • Basic test coverage to ensure that each build writes to correct folder and data structures
    • Testing is very important - some intern will break this and cause havoc in the future
  • Docs

Update from Hien: We are still missing the updater for nightly builds and flags for building the app in different environments. I will update the nightly pipeline as soon as we have these components.

@hiento09 @vansangpfiev I am including a Tests task on this, as I foresee that some intern down the road create havoc by accidentally writing cortex.cpp nightly settings to stable. We should test for:

  • Writing to correct data structures (e.g. folders)
  • referencing correct .cortexrc
