Write unit tests for the library

In hustling to get a working version of Orianna out the door, unit tests fell by the wayside as a "nice-to-have". As Orianna becomes more stable and begins to be used in more projects, unit tests become critically important.

We should build out a JUnit test suite for Orianna and automate testing using TravisCI or CircleCI.
