I would like to use the firmware but am unsure how to compile.

Hi there, this firmware is no longer maintained. If you'd still like to use it, you can compile it using a suitable arm compiler. We previously built this to use YAGARTO, which is no longer available. I believe https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded can also be used.

With some work, I think it can be also used with LPCExpresso.
