It appears that message history is kept by the channel index. If multiple channels are present and re-ordered, messages are shown under the wrong channel.
If for example the channels are originally like this: (0) LongFast, (1) private
Then channel order is changed to: (0) private, (1) LongFast
All of the messages sent before the change in the private channel now show under Longfast.
