[Feature Request] support switching between devices

When you switch regularly between several nodes, the node info is wiped out when switching. While it makes sense to prioritize information that comes from the currently-connected node, it would be nice to allow the app to use cached information via other nodes for the purposes of displaying things like names and locations. This is especially valuable given that messages within a channel can be retained, but the names associated with those messages disappear when switching connected devices.
