There have been several patches send to the openembedded-devel mailing list,
I've tried to contact the maintainers, unfortunately that has been unsuccessful so far.
I'm hoping opening an issue here will alert someone and get me in contact.

I've also raised this issue on GitLab but it seems this repo is actually more up to date.

@JerryMain I will be closing this issue soon if no one puts any actionable content in it. "Several patches" is too vague. At this point those patches are probably a year or two old. Please put links in for either the actual posts on lists.openembedded.org or patchwork.yoctoproject.org. You could also create a branch or branches and send them as pull requests. They will likely need to be rebased anyway. If you want to target a specific stable release branch, please make sure to highlight that in the subject line (e.g [kirkstone]). We will probably want to fix it on master first and then back port it.

I'll note that git pw patch list meta-java will give you a list. This is what I use to update patches when they are merged (or try to remember to do so).

[pw]
        server = https://patchwork.yoctoproject.org/api/1.2
        project = oe
        token = <your token from patchwork.yoctoproject.org, optional only needed for update>

At one point, the mailing list in the README was yocto@lists.yoctoproject.org (or equivalent before the groups.io change). So there are also some patches on that mailing list:

[pw]
        server = https://patchwork.yoctoproject.org/api/1.2
        project = yocto
        token = <your token from patchwork.yoctoproject.org, optional only needed for update>

This is probably why I did not personally catch the other patches, as that is the list I was querying until recently.
