When I open a java file in NVIM I get this error in :JdtShowLogs

I am running on a mac machine with M1

So the error is in jdtls.py. Any idea how to fix this?

You're using both lspconfig and nvim-jdtls. You shouldn't do that. See https://github.com/mfussenegger/nvim-jdtls#nvim-lspconfig-and-nvim-jdtls-differences

The error is from jdtls.py which is part of eclipse.jdt.ls itself and which is used by lspconfig.
If you remove lua require'lspconfig'.jdtls.setup{} the error should be gone.

Looks like BooleanOptionalAction is only available in python 3.9+

Ok now I see the note I shouldn't use both. Python 3.9 is not a requirement, right? The error is gone, now I get:
