Expressive Pixels will not connect to Matrix Portal M4 #14

When I run Expressive Pixels, it finds my Matrix Portal M4, and offers me a connect button. I click the button, and after 5 seconds or so it times out and says "A connection error occurred." Everything about the firmware installation on the Matrix Portal went normally, but I just can't get it to connect. Any thoughts?
