OMS agent 1.6.0-163 has broken fluent-gem. This disables the opportunity to use the docker image as base image and install additional fluent plugins. This issue was resolved upstream at github.com/Microsoft/OMS-Agent-for-Linux with version 1.6.1-3 which is not available as docker image. I've build this image on my machine and verified that fluent-gem is working.
