New option to be added to powerToys to manage options in right click context menu. I am thinking of adding 2 functionalities.
Enable/Disable Option:
As users accumulate various applications, the right-click context menu tends to become cluttered. Additionally, some applications may not clean up their entries upon uninstallation. To address this issue, I suggest the integration of an "Enable/Disable" option within PowerToys. This feature would allow users to selectively enable or disable specific context menu options.
Transfer Option Between Modern and Legacy Menus:
This option is specific to windows 11. This proposed functionality allows users to transfer a context menu option between the modern Windows 11 right-click menu and the legacy menu.
Scenario when this would be used?
Enable/Disable Option:
If a user finds that the "Open with VS Code" (example) option is no longer needed, they can easily disable it through PowerToys. Instead of uninstalling and reinstalling or updating the registry.
Transfer Option Between Modern and Legacy Menus:
Consider a user who uses "Open with VS Code" (example) very often. Since the option is present in the legacy menu, he has to shift + right-click or right-click + More options. Moving it to the modern right-click menu will make the option more convenient to use.
Supporting information
Main idea is to give users more control over options displayed in the right-click context menu. This will help users both in cleaning up clutter as well as personalization and customization.
