Ubuntu-20.04

Other Software

wslg.exe is nowhere to be found. while ui applications still start, their rendering is completely skewed.

Repro Steps

simply install the windows updates from last week:

KB5032189
KB5032338

according to the Microsoft Store, wsl was updated today, but I cannot find any information as to what changed or at what time.

Expected Behavior

wslg.exe -d Ubuntu-20.04 --cd "~" -- emacs 

Starts my emacs

Actual Behavior

'wslg.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

seemingly resolved itself by restarting. :/
