'/question Unable to Install WSL 2 After PC Reset

I have been trying to install WSL 2 on my PC for the past two days without success. I recently performed a full reset of my PC, and since then, I have been unable to install WSL.

Here is the error I am encountering:

C:\Windows\System32>wsl --install
Class not registered
Error code: Wsl/CallMsi/Install/REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG

I need help resolving this issue.

I tried to fixe it by following these steps but it doesn't work :

Invoke-WebRequest -UseBasicParsing "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/microsoft/WSL/master/diagnostics/collect-wsl-logs.ps1" -OutFile collect-wsl-logs.ps1
Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force
.\collect-wsl-logs.ps1

The script will output the path of the log file once done.

If this is a networking issue, please use collect-networking-logs.ps1, following the instructions here

Once completed please upload the output files to this Github issue.
