When looking for the equivelant of /etc/rc.local or /etc/init that contains script commands that can be used to configure ones workspace (I was trying to add "cd /mnt/c") it appears there is no (findable) file to achieve this functionality.
Alternatively one exists and the help pages explain how to configure a system but not in this way. (screenshot of existing help page below)

Right now the SOP is put the commands your .bashrc, with guards if necessary to ensure the commands are run only once per instance. For your ask, #2530 or #994 (depending on one's disposition).
