Related to #5495 , is there any chance that we could get amd gpu support in WSL2 in the near future? Could get ROCm and amdgpu running but WSL just won't detect the hardware.

I know there are people already requesting this but just to bring it up again because amd recently released their ROCm 5.0 with support for Navi21s which is kinda huge.

AMD could help to achieve more compatibilities with their GPU, it's like they do not care about that market part they will have and the fact that they'll surelly have it thanks to the bigger VRAM quantity on their GPU than on the Nvidia's ones... incredible...

AMD official support is here. Only for Radeon 7000 series.

@onomatopellan what about igpu's from the 8000 series?

@FerLuisxd Hardware support is very limited for now. You will need a future Windows Driver version supporting 8000 series for WSL2.
