The Metrics explorer will enable App Center Data users to monitor their data and throughput usage as they use the service. It will give you insight on where your data traffic is, your read/write latency, and throughput used.

We have prototype mockups for this item and will continue to flesh these out for a finalized design in our portal.

Update: We've recently shipped 2/3 features for this item. Today, you can now utilize the Metrics view to see various metrics associated with your app such as Avg. throughput / second, Data Size, etc. You can also see read and write latency charts. The last piece of this work is the traffic map, which shows where throughput is occurring on a map so you can get a gauge on where your customers are and also see where the most traffic is occurring location wise in your application.

We announced this week in a blog post that we’re retiring the Auth and Data services later this year and recommending customers transition to Azure Active Directory B2C and Azure Cosmos DB instead. Closing this issue.
