I got this bug when Azure Data Studio was upgraded to 1.25.0. Please see the closed ticket below:

#13751

Current error:
Microsoft.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. @jparadis2 you may be impacted by the bug discussed here #14382. Could you please add any comments there for this? I'll close this as a duplicate. FYI, we're preparing a hotfix for that issue.
