Does this bug already exist in our backlog?

  • I have checked and confirm this is a new bug.

Describe the issue

Hello,

While trying to setup a CoE in our tenant, I'm unable to click the "Refresh" button on the run inventory flows page of the Center of Excellence Setup Wizard model driven app (within the imported solution), nor am I able to click the toggle switches to enable the inventory flows on the new page (on two separate accounts, I'll explain more in the following section)....

Background:

This is my second CoE install attempt for our Microsoft tenant. The first time I imported everything into our default environment and using my normal 365 account. We as a team decided it would be better to put it in a different environment as well as have an account dedicated to only CoE things. I then deleted everything I had imported into our default environment, created a coe.admin account, gave it an A3, PowerApps and Power Automate Developer, as well as Power Bi Premium licenses, gave it the global admin role (my normal 365 account is also global admin with A5 which is the only difference in licenses or permissions), re-imported the CoE starter kit and core components into the new "Center of Excellence" environment, and now running into the issues described above. Before the first time I tried getting the CoE setup, I followed Microsoft's guide to creating and setting up the CoE and the inventory components guides at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/guidance/coe/setup and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/guidance/coe/setup-core-components. I made sure I had the proper permissions for both accounts, licenses, created groups (powerplatform.admins/.makers/.users), created the Entra registrations for Graph and 365 API connections/permissions, as well as enabled "Audit Logging."

Anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong or missing...? I'm about at my whit's end with this and I don't break very easily. I tried with Microsoft Support, but after days of back and forth with them, they finally dumped me here because they couldn't figure it out!

I did a search for "refresh" in only this repository and wasn't able to find anything related to the issues I'm having... If there is something that I missed, I apologize and please provide a link!

Should be able to run the setup flows and then enable the inventory flows!

@DrewPiazza00 The setup wizard's Run inventory flows tab will list these flows.

To troubleshoot your issue, can you follow below steps:

  • Open the Center of Excellence - Core Components solution and navigate to the Cloud flows
  • Try manually activating the flows and check if you encounter any issues.

One common deployment issue we have observed is missing configuration for required Environment Variables during the solution import. Please refer to this article for updating Environment Variables: Update environment variables.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.
