Does the .NET team have any plans to provide an updated snapshot of .NET Framework source code? .NET Framework 4.8.1 (released in 2022) is missing. @rzikm indicated the reference source website is in maintenance mode but did not address the actual code request.

Even worse is that a project targeting 4.8 will automatically use 4.8.1 runtime if installed, otherwise 4.8(.0).
This makes it very hard to understand what's happening if there is some .net runtime problem.
Refiling here, previous issue was closed.
