Issue-Feature Complex enough to require an in depth planning process and actual budgeted, scheduled work. Resolution-Duplicate There's another issue on the tracker that's pretty much the same thing.

Description of the new feature/enhancement

Is there a way to get a terminal intellisense dropdown in Microsoft terminal like one could in PowerShell ISE?

Proposed technical implementation details (optional)

image

Working on the terminal with PowerShell 7 could become more convenient if one was able to see all the potential matches for one's command in a dropdown right in the terminal.

@DHowett-MSFT , This isn't a duplicate of #643. This is specifically about the intellisense dropdown. Maybe an SQLCLI-like dropdown if not a PSISE-like dropdown.

It's a duplicate because both of them request auxiliary terminal UI based on shell-provided completion content.
