Omitted from initial implementation in #6635.

It would be a neat idea to allow display command-palette entries either heavily weighted towards MRU items, or specifically start the empty list with the MRU items, followed by everything else.

We might as well stick this behind a setting.

When using the command palette, I most often want to re-run a similar set of commands over and over.

  • it would be ideal if the previous, lets say top 5 commands were at the top of the list of commands
  • a history view

Perhaps have a configurable number of history to show e.g. 3 or 5 commands.

Upvote for this issue.

  • Please add "recently used" commands in the Command Palette.

Now I see, I already put in the request above 🎉😊...

Definitely still interested in this one.
