Repeated error messages and now locked due to rate limit although I did not use many prompts

I am using GIthub copilot with remote-ssh. I did not use the github copilot chat much today and used it only for simple tasks such as create a shell script to start a screen session and then to activate a virtual env. At first I repeatedly got the following message: Sorry I can't assist you with that. Then I got a filtered by the responsible AI service although my prompt was just to create a shell file. Now I get the reponse locked due to rate-limit wait for 12 hours. I BARELY used copilot today and this is not what I am paying for. Kindly see what the problem is, and help me out.
